Electrical fire at Trinity School

ACT Fire & Rescue (ACTF&R) are currently on scene at Trinity Christian School, McBryde Cres, Wanniassa following reports of a small electrical fire.

The small fire was found to be in a light fitting has now been extinguished by ACTF&R.

ACTF&R have evacuated staff and students from the school as a precaution.

Two pumpers, Hazmat, breathing apparatus van and Commander are in attendance with crews now ventilating the area and conducting atmospheric monitoring.

Crews were alerted just before 8:50am by an automated fire alarm and a call from the school to Emergency Triple Zero (000).

Staff and students have now returned to the buildings at the School.
