Fatality on Lady Denman Drive

ACT Policing is investigating a fatal collision on Lady Denman Drive in Acton this morning, (Friday, 2 September) in which a 23-year-old man has died.

About 8.30am, police were called to the scene after reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.

ACT Ambulance Service attended the scene and confirmed one male had died. Two people were transferred to hospital.

This is the sixth person to have died on ACT roads this year.

ACT Policing’s Collision Investigation and Reconstruction Team are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision. A report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or report via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
