Firearm for a Florey pizza robbery

ACT Policing are seeking witnesses to an aggravated robbery in Florey last night (Tuesday 5 January 2016).

About 9.15pm, two men entered Mills and Grills Pizzas on Kesteven Street, Florey, through the back door. One of the men pointed a firearm at staff members before the two offenders took the till and fled through the back door. The offenders were last seen fleeing on foot on John Cleland Crescent, heading north.

The offenders were both men wearing black hooded jumpers and face coverings.

ACT Policing attended and AFP Forensic Services conducted and examination of the scene. Investigations are ongoing and police are seeking CCTV and witnesses.

Police urge anyone who may have seen two men in Florey about 9.15pm last night or may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Please quote reference 5905745. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
