Further controlled burns around Canberra

THE ACT Parks and Conservation Service is advising that a number of prescribed burns will take place in the ACT over coming days, weather permitting.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 20 April 2016, a 41 hectare prescribed burn will commence at Mount Arawang in the Cooleman Ridge Nature Reserve in Chapman and a seven hectare prescribed burn in the Molonglo Valley near John Gorton Drive, Coombs.

Prescribed burns are scheduled to continue on Thursday 21 April 2016 at Mount Arawang and also a new eight hectare burn in the Molonglo Valley near John Gorton Drive, Coombs.
