Gunfire in Kambah

ACT Policing’s Criminal Investigations is investigating a shooting incident in Kambah on Thursday night (Thursday, 7 April).

Around 11:30pm yesterday, police were called to a house in O’Halloran Circuit, Kambah after reports shots were fired into a home.

Members from ACT Policing attended and located evidence of a firearm being discharged.

Police have received reports of up to three people running from O’Halloran Circuit towards Springbett Street. A vehicle was reported leaving Springbett Street, travelling towards Drakeford Drive.

If you saw anything suspicious on O’Halloran Circuit or Springbett Street around this time, police urge you to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Please quote reference 5944921. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook pages or Twitter feeds.
