action bus

THE ACT Government’s Transport website is quietly warning:

NXTBUS is currently experiencing technical difficulties. We are working to fix the issue as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience.
Please use the timetables on the ACTION website and the journey planner to plan your travel.

This prompted us to ask the Minister, Meegan Fitzharris, how long this has been a problem which brought this surprising answer:

“Since the Telstra outage last week we seem to be experiencing some issues with the ACTION bus data. It is a technical issue and we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible,” Meegan said.

“Nxtbus is still online, although people may notice some small anomalies. I would encourage people to check timetables to plan their trip at this time.”
