Phillip arrest linked to NSW murder

A 36-year-old man has been taken into custody this afternoon following the murder of a man in Fairfield East, New South Wales on 6 December 2015.

New South Wales Police Force made a formal request for assistance from ACT Policing Criminal Investigations after reports that the 36-year-old man was residing in the ACT.

Detectives located the man at an address in Phillip where he was taken into custody.

The 36-year-old man will appear in the ACT Magistrates Court today (15 June) where Detectives from NSW Police Force will seek his extradition.
