Police hunt Kippax hit and run

police

ACT Policing is seeking the public’s assistance following a vehicle collision that occurred in the carpark at the Kippax Shopping Centre on Tuesday, 9 August 2016.

Around 8.45am a red Volkswagen Golf was parked at the rear of Kippax Shops. On returning to her car at around 2pm the driver found an anonymous note on the windscreen stating the person had witnessed ‘another vehicle run into the back of her vehicle before driving off’.

The anonymous note has assisted police with initial enquiries. However, police would like to speak to the Good Samaritan who left the note on the windscreen and any other witnesses to this incident.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via the website www.act.crimestoppers.com.au. Please provide reference number 5997093. Information may be provided anonymously
