Power generation piles up on City Walk

AT lunchtime today City Walk was playing host to some serious power generation capacity.

It is of course in preparation for the Multicultural Festival this weekend.

We asked Minister Responsible Yvette Berry’s office if this was usual way of doing things and received this reply:

It’s about the same number of generators as last year (there were 15 in 2015 and there are 18 this year).

There are around an additional 80 stalls this year. The generators are needed to power all the stalls and entertainment on the stages.
