THERE’S been a three-car crash in Jeir, just south of Murrumbateman, this afternoon with an ACT ambulance and two ACT Fire & Rescue pumpers dashing to help at the scene.
Fire crews used cutting equipment on one of the cars to allow intensive-care paramedics access to a trapped female. The patient, in her 30s, has been extricated from the vehicle and airlifted by the Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with suspected pelvic injuries. Other patients are being assessed and treated at the scene for minor injuries.
NSW Fire & Rescue and ambulance crews were also on the scene.
