Crews were alerted to the incident at the intersection of Kaveneys Road and Dog Trap Road at 4.04pm.

Fire crews used cutting equipment on one of the cars to allow intensive-care paramedics access to a trapped female. The patient, in her 30s, has been extricated from the vehicle and airlifted by the Snowy Hydro Southcare helicopter to the Canberra Hospital in a stable condition with suspected pelvic injuries. Other patients are being assessed and treated at the scene for minor injuries.

NSW Fire & Rescue and ambulance crews were also on the scene.
