Richardson grow house bust

ACT Policing Tuggeranong Patrol members located a ‘grow house’ in Richardson on Thursday night (28 January).

About 10.30pm, police were notified of a disturbance at the Richardson residence. Upon arrival, an initial search of the premises was conducted where a sophisticated hydroponics system was discovered.

Police continued the search of the entire premises which revealed seven cannabis plants, 13 seedlings, one cannabis plant approximately 180cm in height, dried cannabis and white powder believed to be amphetamine.

A 48-year-old male will be summons to appear in the ACT Magistrates Court where it is expected he will face three drug related charges.
