ACT Policing is seeking witnesses after an incident in Richardson last night (Thursday 7 January).

About 8pm, ACT Policing attended a residence on Clift Crescent, Richardson, following a report that a resident had returned home and found a small amount of damage to the property. There were no persons injured during the incident and no one was at the property at the time of the incident.

ACT Policing along with AFP Forensic Services attended the scene. The damage was believed to be caused by a firearm.

Police are asking the public to report any suspicious activity they may have witnessed around Clift Crescent, Richardson, at any time from 5.30pm on Wednesday 6 to 7.30pm on Thursday 7 January.

Anyone with information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000, or via act.crimestoppers.com.au. Please quote reference 5907557. Information can be provided anonymously.

Police remind people they should not report crime information via Facebook and Twitter pages.
