THE ABBEY at Gold Creek is joining in the Canberra Writers Festival fever with “Tales after Dark – Storytelling for Grownups”, with featured guests Shortis & Simpson.
Four local actors will perform carefully selected stories to make audiences laugh, cry, and maybe think.
John Shortis and Moya Simpson, known in the region for their political comedy, will open and close with their own brand of musical stories. In between, the actors will relate short stories and play story games with the audience.
“Tales after Dark” is an ongoing Canberra venture aimed at promoting Australian writers.
