The motorcycle riders want your blankets

THE Motorcycle Riders Association of the ACT (MRA ACT) is again organising the Blanket Run this coming May.

The 2016 Canberra Blanket Run will be held on Saturday May 14.

The Blanket Run is an annual event the MRA ACT have now been raising money and donating goods for those in need of support over the winter months for over 30 years.

This year they are again supporting the Salvation Army and ask that participants bring along new warm blankets, cash, non-perishable foods and unwanted motorcycle jackets.

The ride will commence from Old Parliament House at 10:00, with breakfast and coffee available from 08:30. The ride will culminate in a presentation of goods and cash back at Old Parliament House.
