MELROSE High is the latest Canberra school to be disrupted by a phoned in threat.
ACT Policing had this to say:
We can confirm that an ACT school has received a threatening phone call.
The school is being evacuated as a precaution as we investigate the veracity of the threat.
There were a string of tweets:

Also a note to parents:
Parents and Carers
You may have heard that Melrose High School received a threatening phone call today.
Students and staff were evacuated as ACT Policing attended the site, investigated the threat and confirmed it was safe for students and staff to return to normal classes.
Staff and students responded exceptionally well and we commend them for their swift action to ensure everyone was safe.
If parents and carers have any concerns or require further information, please contact your school. Counselling support is available for all students and staff.
This follows on from similar incidents in a number of schools locally and interstate around Australia last week.
