INGRID Wagner took this rare footage of water in Lake George this morning, after last night’s downpour, and kindly agreed for us to share it with our readers.
Travelling on the Federal Hwy to Canberra each day for work, it was nice to see some water in Lake George. With this being quite a rare sight to see, I thought I’d share the water sight with the rest of the Canberra community who on a normal working day wouldn’t get the time/travel opportunity to see for themselves.
It should, however, be remembered that at times Lake George has supported commercial fisheries and been the cause of mass drownings.
Who can be trusted?
