Man splashes stolen money around town

A MAN has been captured on CCTV using a stolen credit card, which was taken from a Coombs house in May while the owner of it was asleep.

ACT police are seeking the public’s assistance to identify an offender pictured in CCTV using a stolen credit card.
The credit card was stolen at about 3am on May 23, along with other items.

ACT Policing investigated the incident, including a number of transactions made on the credit card since it was stolen during the burglary.

Police have released CCTV images of an offender using the stolen credit card at the Caltex Service Station in Calwell.

The offender is described as being Caucasian in appearance, of a medium build and about 175cm (5’9”) tall. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper, a maroon baseball cap and white sneakers and was carrying a black satchel.

Police established that the offender (pictured) arrived at the service station with a number of other people in a silver Daewoo Cielo, or similar, which had no windscreen.
