One-off bin changes as drivers farewell colleague

SOME areas in Canberra may miss out on waste and recycling collection services tomorrow (June 22) to give garbage truck drivers the opportunity to attend the funeral of a colleague.

Residents of Aranda, Belconnen, Bruce, Cook, Evatt (south of Clancy Street), Dunlop (south of Ginninderra Drive), Florey, Giralang, Hawker, Higgins, Holt, Kaleen, Latham, Lawson, North Lyneham, Macgregor, Macquarie, McKellar, Page, Scullin and Weetangera may have their general waste collection service disrupted.

Bins that aren’t collected on Thursday will be collected on Saturday, June 24, if left on the curb.

Residents in the effected suburbs can contact our waste and recycling contractor, SUEZ, on 6260 1547 or act.resi@suez-env.com.au
