Police search for Peugeot after hit and run

A man received serious injuries when a dark blue, 2001 model Peugeot 206 hatchback, with ACT registration YEX93K was driven at him.
POLICE are searching for a dark blue Peugeot, with the ACT registration YEX93K, after it was involved in a hit and run in O’Malley. 

At about 11am on Thursday, July 26, the driver of the Peugeot, which is a 2001, 206 hatchback, drove at a man near the Canberra Hospital, at the intersection of Hindmarsh Drive and Tyagarah Street.

The man received serious injuries and the driver of the Peugeot did not stop to offer assistance or give their details, before fleeing the scene in the car.

The vehicle is likely to have incurred damage to its front end in the collision.

Police urge anyone who knows the whereabouts of the dark blue Peugeot, or who has any other information about the incident to contact 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6291179.
