A SECOND man has been arrested following as a police operation, which is focused on linking and solving long-term aggravated offences.
The man, a 29-year-old Calwell man, was arrested yesterday (August 16) and will face charges such as aggravated robbery and aggravated burglary for offences dating back to 2010.
Police have also arrested a 25-year-old man, who has been summonsed on 22 charges such as attempted murder, forcible confinement and aggravated robbery in relation to historic offences between 2009 and 2018.
Detective station sergeant Harry Hains says the operation remains ongoing and ACT Policing’s Crime Disruption Team are investigating a number of leads.
The Calwell man will face the ACT Magistrates Court today on six charge.
Police urge anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6283658.
