Urgent calls to find missing Phoenix, 6

Missing… police are concerned about the well being of Phoenix Mapham, 6.
POLICE are urgently calling on the public to help them find missing six-year-old Phoenix Mapham, who was last seen on Thursday (August 23).

ACT police have put Phoenix’s case on “amber alert”, which is issued during critical situations such as child abduction or high risk missing child cases.

Phoenix was last seen being driven by a women suspected to be his mother, Tessa Woodcock, in a white 1999 Holden Vectra sedan (registration YAU56P), away from Hickey Court, Weston Creek at about 1.30pm on Thursday.

Phoenix and his mother may also be travelling in a blue Subaru Forester (or similar vehicle) with a broken rear window and damaged front end (possible registration YKP08U).

The pair is believed to be in either Canberra or NSW.

Phoenix is not in the lawful custody of his mother and police are seeking to locate him as there are serious concerns for his wellbeing.
