TWENTY-eight Canberra firefighters are being sent to QLD to help fight several fires burning across the state.

ACT ESA says crews will travel to Rockhampton and Warwick tomorrow (September 12) for five days before returning home on Wednesday, September 18.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency has also deployed a fire behaviour analyst to Caloundra, QLD, and a public information officer to support NSW Rural Fire Service.
