AFP officer charged with sex offences

Share Canberra's trusted news:

FOLLOWING an investigation by ACT police, an AFP officer will be charged with multiple sexual offences against a young person including grooming, acts of indecency and maintaining a sexual relationship.

The 35-year-old Palmerston man was suspended from duty in June and faces the ACT Magistrates Court today (July 12).

As the matter is before court, ACT police say it would not be appropriate to make any further comment.
