Child-care centre chickens set alight

TWO chickens were taken from a coop at a Kambah child care centre and set alight in the early hours of Saturday (June 8) morning. 

Police are looking for witnesses following the cruelty to the chickens taken child care centre at Summerland Circuit, Kambah and later discovered nearby with injuries consistent with being set alight. Police say one chicken has been subsequently euthanised and the other is receiving veterinary care.

Police would like to speak with anyone who saw or who may have dash cam footage of people at or near the child care centre around 3am on Saturday morning.
