Crash kills driver in Page this morning

A DRIVER has died after crashing into a tree on Belconnen Way, in Page, early this morning (June 26). 

Police were called to the crash at about 4.20am.

The driver died at the scene and the passenger received minor injuries.

ACT police are examining the circumstances surrounding the collision and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Police are encouraging anyone who witnessed or may have dash-cam footage of the incident to contact police on 131 444 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
