Farrer man faces child exploitation charges

FOLLOWING a police search of his home in Farrer yesterday (October 9), a 29-year-old man is facing child exploitation charges.

During the search by the Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Team the man allegedly made admissions to using online apps to plan and prepare to procure a child for sex in Thailand. Child exploitation material was also located during the search.

The man was arrested, and charged with two counts of preparing/planning to engage in sexual intercourse/activity with a child outside Australia, and one count of using a carriage service for child exploitation.
