Group assault sends woman to hospital

A WOMAN has been “seriously” injured after she was assaulted by a group of people early on Sunday (May 12) morning in Civic, according to ACT police. 

Police were called to Narellan Lane where the woman was allegedly assaulted at about 12.15am.

The woman sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital.

Police would like to speak to members of the public who witnessed the assault or assisted the woman.

Anyone who may have any information that could assist police is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6395437.
