‘Hazardous’ leak causes concern in Fyshwick

UPDATE: AFTER investigations, firefighters found and isolated a non-suspicious material leaking from damaged machinery.

The building is now safe to reoccupy. 

ACT Fire & Rescue has departed the scene. All roads are reopened.

THE post office on Mildura Street in Fyshwick has been evacuated while firefighters investigate a potential hazardous leak.

A partial road closure is in place on Mildura Street.
