Man commits lewd act near playground

A FACE-fit image has been released after a man committed an indecent act in amongst trees near the Macdermott Place playground area at Lake Ginninderra this morning (May 31).

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, ran towards Joynton Smith Drive

The man, who is believed to be in his 30s, ran towards Joynton Smith Drive after he was seen at about 7.45am

Police believe the man has been in the same area several times in the preceding days.

He is described as having a dark complexion and being about 175cm (5’9”) tall. He was wearing dark pants, a red jacket and a black cap.

Police are urging anyone who may have any information that could assist police to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6401842.
