Man critical after being stabbed in neck

A MAN’S been airlifted to Canberra Hospital in a stable but critical condition after he was stabbed in the neck multiple times in Goulburn yesterday (June 23). 

Police found the 39-year-old at a residence on Caoura Crescent, Goulburn, at about 4pm. He had three puncture wounds to his neck.

He was initially taken to Goulburn Hospital for treatment of significant bleeding and then was airlifted to Canberra Hospital.

A women, 33, who was known to the man, was arrested at the scene.

She was charged with wounding a person with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She will appear at the Goulburn Local Court today (June 24).
