Police suspicious of Watson school fire

POLICE are treating a fire, which damaged a school building at Majura Primary School last night (June 10), as suspicious. 

Emergency services were called to the fire on Knox Street at about 9.30pm to find the building damaged.

After an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who noticed anyone acting suspiciously near the school last night.

Anyone who has any information regarding the fire is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website using reference number 6405347.
