Ram raids hit northern shops

WITNESSES or dash-cam footage is sought after two early morning ram-raids today (June 24) in Ngunnawal and Charnwood.

Police say that at about 3.30am a vehicle damaged the front entrance of the Ngunnawal IGA. Soon after, reports of a ram-raid at the Charnwood Newsagency were received.

A dark-coloured Toyota RAV4 is suspected to have been used in both incidents. It was later found burnt out near Owen Dixon Drive in Spence.
