Ute driver flees Curtin accident scene

POLICE are looking for a utility driver who fled the scene after a collision on Cotter Road, Curtin, yesterday (May 25).

Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage in relation to the collision near the Equestrian Park around 5.20pm when a white Toyota utility and a white Honda CRV collided, causing the CRV to flip over, trapping the its driver.

Police say the driver of the Toyota didn’t stop to assist and left the scene.

The driver was removed from the CRV by ACT Fire and Rescue.

Anyone who can assist the police should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
