“DON’T Call Me Girlie” is a line from the 1938 comedy “Dad and Dave Come to Town”. It’s also the name of a film about women who worked in the golden years of Australia’s film industry and will screen for the Friends of the NFSA at Canberra Museum and Gallery, 2.30pm-4pm, this Friday, June 21. “BRUCE” is a two-man, one puppet show fusing mime and puppetry.
