When smoke gets in your eyes… again

It’s back… a smoky pall returns to Canberra.

SMOKE returned to the Canberra skyline this afternoon (December 17) and is, again, from bushfires burning in NSW.

The ACT Emergency Services Agency reminds the community to call 000 if anyone sees an unattended fire (notably a visible flame or distinct column of smoke), not just because of the presence of smoke.

Information on fires at esa.act.gov.au or download the NSW Fires Near Me app.
