A WOMAN was allegedly threatened by a man with a hammer as she prepared to drive from a home in MacGregor early on Friday (July 5).
Her car was blocked in by a silver sedan that pulled in behind her vehicle parked in Rag Holmes Street at around 6.35am.
A man got out of the silver vehicle and allegedly threatened the woman with a hammer. She left her car and fled back inside to call the police.
In her absence, several items were taken from her vehicle.
Police are looking for witnesses of dash-cam footage of the area or nearby residents whose CCTV systems may have vision of a silver sedan around the time of the incident.
Anyone with information should call 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
