Devastation: map reveals fire’s cruel progress

Here is the gloomy physical reality of the impact of the still out-of-control Orroral Valley Fire reflected in this morning’s (February 4) Fire Situation Map from the ESA.

The relentless, week-long fire has made national headlines as it destroyed more than 69,000 hectares of the Namadgi National Park and continues to threaten Tharwa Village and Canberra’s southern suburbs.
