ACT teachers will get a pay rise on July 9 through a teaching staff enterprise agreement making them the highest paid teachers in Australia.
Following the pay rise, the top of range classroom teacher salary will reach $109,641.
Superannuation will increase too, and by October 1, under the superannuation guarantee funds, contributions will increase by 11.5 per cent.
The offer will also extend paid employer superannuation contributions on the first 12 months of unpaid birth leave, bonding leave, primary care giver leave, adoption and permanent care leave.
