AINSLIE and Gorman Arts Centres, as well as Sage Restaurant and Mint Bar, are the latest to close because of COVID-19, with venue hire and on-site programming at a stop regardless of whether an event meets the new social distancing measures announced on Friday.

WESLEY Music Centre has cancelled ALL concerts/events until the end of May 2020. This includes all Wednesday lunchtime concerts, as well as Art Song concerts, Ariana Odermatt on harpsichord, Thoroughbass and the Australian Strings Association competition. THE Treasure Hunt Shopping Trail and the planned autumn activation of the “Visit Queanbeyan-Palerang” campaign has been postponed until further notice.

BELCO Arts (formerly Belconnen Arts Centre) will close to the public from tomorrow, Tuesday March 24, but will be presenting its first online class from 1.15pm tomorrow for Dance for Wellbeing: With Parkinson’s. To participate you will need a device that can access the internet, get on Facebook and the Dance for Wellbeing Community group, and go to the group page just before 1.15pm.

M16 Artspace in Blaxland Crescent, Griffith remains open, Wednesday to Sunday, noon to 5pm, pending further advice from the government or board.  

AARWUN Gallery will not have an official opening of the new exhibition “A Homage to our Wildlife”, but it will be on display both online at aarwungallery.com and in the gallery at Gold Creek from Friday, March 27 to Thursday, April 30.
