Bikie gang chief dies in bar fight

THE leader of the Canberra Comancheros bikie gang is reported to have died during a fight at a city bar early this morning (July 19).

Police were called to Kokomo’s at 12.05am and ACT Ambulance Service paramedics attended to two injured men. 

One of the men died a short time later at the scene. The other was taken to hospital.

A crime scene was established, and an investigation into the circumstances of the incident continued overnight. Police remained at the scene this morning.

The ABC is reporting that the dead man is Pitasoni Ulavalu, 48.

Anyone with information, footage of the incident or dash-cam footage from the area that could assist police should call 1800 333000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website. Information can be provided anonymously.
