Car hits pedestrian in Lyneham

A PEDESTRIAN has been taken to hospital after being hit by a car on Northbourne Avenue.

Police say that at about 2.25am on Monday (March 9), they were called to the scene of the Lyneham collision between Morphett Street and Murdoch Street.

The pedestrian was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Police are seeking witnesses and dash-cam footage from near the location around the time of the collision. Call 1800 33000 or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website
