Cinema chain closes indefinitely

PALACE Cinemas has closed all its cinemas, including Canberra’s Palace Electric, in the face of the federal government’s coronavirus direction around the size of non-essential gatherings as well as safety concerns for patrons and staff.

The cinema chain says all it theatres will close indefinitely from tomorrow (March 19).

“Rest assured we will be back offering sublime entertainment and a place to indulge and escape when it is safe to do so,” the company said in a public announcement.
