Nishi building roof catches fire

FIREFIGHTERS were called to the Nishi building in Civic to find the roof on fire this morning (May 25). 

Located on the corner of Edinburgh Avenue and Phillip Law Street, firies got to the building at about 11.50am and found a single solar panel alight on the building’s roof.

The solar panel has now been extinguished and firefighters have left the scene.
