Conditions worsen as fire creates its ‘own weather patterns’

THE Orroral Valley Fire has increased this afternoon and conditions have deteriorated, says the ESA.

“The fire is now creating its own weather pattern. The fire is out of control and firefighters are responding to the fire,” the agency reports.

Maintaining the “watch and act” fire rating, the ESA is advising that people in the areas of BOBOYAN ROAD, TOP NAAS ROAD, APOLLO ROAD and THARWA VILLAGE should keep up to date and decide what actions they take because bushfire conditions are changing.

People in the southern suburbs of BANKS, GORDON and CONDER and surrounding areas should monitor conditions closely and be ready to act.
