Cops deem Greenway fire suspicious

A FIRE that tore through a townhouse in Greenway this morning (July 31) is being treated by police as suspicious.  

Officers were called to the fire at about 4am, following reports that a townhouse was alight in a recently-developed area on Drakeford Drive in Greenway.

ACT Fire and Rescue attended and extinguished the fire, and following an analysis of the scene, police are treating the fire as suspicious and the circumstances surrounding the fire are now being investigated.

Police are seeking any information about the fire, including witnesses, CCTV or dash-cam footage of any suspicious activity in the area.
