POLICE found about $40,000 of what they believe is methamphetamine when they stopped a car in Florey last night (March 10).

The passenger of the car, a 27-year-old Fraser woman, was found to be in possession of the meth at about 6.20pm and will face charges in the ACT Magistrates Court of trafficking in a controlled drug other than cannabis, possession of a prohibited substance, two counts of possessing stolen property, and bail offences.

Police urge anyone who may have any information about illicit drugs to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333000, or via the Crime Stoppers ACT website.
