Electrical substation fire in Forrest

FENCING is being erected this morning around an electrical substation fire following a fire in Forrest last night.

Fire crews and police were at the scene on Empire Circuit and residents were told to stay indoors due to the possibility of toxic smoke and fumes. No one was injured.

The fencing will be erected around the site, with a 100-metre exclusion zone.
