THE ACT ESA has vowed to work through the night to respond to more than 1750 calls for assistance from the severe storm activity.

Emergency services personnel are responding to roof and window damage, fallen trees and electrical hazards.

Residents requiring assistance for storm or flood damage should call 132500; life-threatening emergencies to 000 and electrical safety call Evoenergy on 131093.
