Firefighters extinguish Hospital Hill bushfire

THE ESA reports that the Hospital Hill bushfire, which started in the southern, remote area of the Namadgi National Park, has been extinguished.

The fire, south of the ACT border in Namadgi National Park.

It says the fire was quickly contained and extinguished in difficult forested terrain thanks to a range of air and ground firefighting tactics.
