Franklin man faces child-abuse charges

A 66-year-old Franklin man is facing court charged with child-exploitation offences following a police raid on his home.

The man was arrested earlier today (November 18) following an ACT Joint Anti Child Exploitation Team investigation.

Team members  searched man’s home seizing a mobile phone that, allegedly, contained child-abuse material.

The man has been charged with using a carriage service for child-abuse material and possessing or controlling child-abuse material.
